Wendy C. Nakamura is the principal consultant and coach for FORESIGHT Leadership Development. She has over fifteen years of consulting experience in leadership development and succession management. She has worked with clients in the hospitality, healthcare, financial, insurance, manufacturing, engineering, and high-tech industries, as well as with education and non-profit agencies.
She holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Hawaii and a M.A. from Purdue University in Organizational Communication and Development.
Wendy is trained/certified in the following assessment tools: LPI, LEA, Checkpoint 360, DDI 360, ECI, Social Styles, DISC, MBTI, BEST, Birkman, Assess, TKI, Strong Interest Inventory.
Wendy is active in professional organizations, including: Organizational Development Network, Center for Creative Leadership, Society for Human Resources Management, American Society for Training & Development, and the Young Business Council.
She also works with community organizations, such as the United Way, Angel Network, The Boys & Girls Club, The Hawaii Nature Center, and the YMCA.
